GETTING TO GOLDENSKY
Discovery Park is located where the American River meets the Sacramento River. The beautiful 302-acre park is located adjacent to I-5 in downtown Sacramento. Fans will enter the festival on the north side of Discovery Park at the Garden Highway entrance or the Jibboom Street entrance from the south.
Festival parking is not available within Discovery Park during GoldenSky. Camping is also not allowed. In an effort to limit the amount of vehicles around the festival, we ask you to consider the convenient transportation options outlined on this page.
SacRT LIGHT RAIL AND SUPPLEMENTAL BUS SERVICE
There are two designated GoldenSky Ride Share Lots. One is located on the south side of Discovery Park on 500 Bercut Drive. Please follow the information on your ride share app and designated signage around the park. 500 Bercut Drive can be used for all drop-off and pick-ups for the festival including taxis and hotel drop offs.
A WORD ABOUT PARKING
If you do drive, GoldenSky greatly encourages carpooling as much as possible. There will be a limited amount of paid parking available for fans in designated areas surrounding the park.
NOTE: The festival does not manage any of these lots and parking fees are set by parking lot management. All parking is at your own risk.
GoldenSky asks everyone to be a “good neighbor” and be respectful of the residents living near Discovery Park and use designated parking areas only.
Limited parking for patrons with disabilities will be available at the event. Patrons with proper ADA vehicle credentials will be directed to park in the Boaters Lot near the Jibboom Street festival entrance. Please follow the signage and the direction of festival staff and police to access this parking area. ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must have a valid state issued Disabled Person Parking placard, permit or license plate-as well as proof it belongs to you for entry into the ADA Parking Lot.
